Bio

Atelier Cornet designs bespoke jewellery boxes, display trays and leather goods, creates bas-reliefs in goatskin velvet, and restores antique jewellery boxes in keeping with the original craftsmanship. Each design is conceived with its intended use in mind: presentation, transport, staging or storage.

Bas-relief

The stucco is carved and raised by the craftsman’s hand. The velvet then moulds itself to these contours, catching the light differently depending on the hollows and ridges. Each piece thus becomes a canvas for storytelling, an invitation to a journey rather than mere decoration. Designed for interior architects, decorators and window dressers, this vibrant, tactile material transforms every display into an experience in its own right.
