Esther Van Schuylenbergh is a textile designer who focuses on the development of woven textiles, both on the level of craft and high-tech industry. Through hands-on experimentation she explores the hidden potential of materials and techniques, resulting in tactile surfaces suitable for interior design applications. Her designs reflect her fascination with mathematical systems and architectural constructions. Despite their technical complexity, they have a clean, simple and timeless aesthetic.

Shifting Colors

Shifting Colors is a series of handwoven panels in monumental waffle weaves, where subtle shifts in color and structure create smooth color transitions. The series transcends the small, repetitive patterns inherent to dobby weaving by integrating digital tools into the design process. Featuring endless variations in color and pattern, the doublesided panels can be custom-made to suit any interior, whether as wall art or a room divider.
